Socorro Ramos Davis

Socorro Ramos Davis was born in Saltillo, Mexico in 1950. She came to the United States in 1960 at the age of 8 years of age. She did her school years in Uvalde, Texas. In her early years, she enjoyed writing short novels and had a love for music. Always listening to Tejano and Musica Nortena. She started writing music lyrics and later developed to put words in music developing a great talent as a composer and Songwriter. She continued composing and writing her music. She manage to develop and establish strong friendships with music studios, which supported her and provided encouragement to her music compositions and music recordings.

In 1992 she learned to register her songs with B.M.I.{broadcast music, inc.} and the United States copyright office of records. That year she wrote “Buen Amigo”, which became a no. 1 hit song. She also wrote “Mi Mala Suerte”
